[REVIEW] Kinohimitsu Diamond Collagen Beauty Supplements
You know how many articles claim that collagen supplements do not work and there’s no scientific evidence to support it. But there’s so many raves and reviews online, so it goes to show that it’s working for some of us at least.
So recently, I’ve gotten 6 bottles of Kinohimitsu Diamond Collagen Beauty Supplement Drinks to try out. And I’m pretty excited because unlike the first Collagen Drink they had which only contains 2500mg of collagen, this new Diamond range contains more than twice the amount – 5300mg.
I couldn’t wait to start out my 6 days trial…
The ingredients include:
Collagen Peptide (Fish) in small molecular form allows immediate absorption by the body to plump up the skin.
Perilla Seed Extract - WSP, a U.S.-patented antioxidant (Patent No.: US6,217,875B1), helps to reduce cell inflammation and increase cell repair ability, thus enhancing the nutrient absorption ability of cells.
Silk Protein (Peptide) is a powerful water-binding agent that aids in moisture retention. It has the ability to retain water 50 times of its own weight.
Soy isoflavone stimulates the production of collagen and elastin, and reduces pigmentation.
Apple, Lemon & Lychee Condensed Juice is rich in malic acid and vitamin C which are effective in skin lightening.
I tried these drinks for a week, taking a bottle every morning since it’s the recommended timing for highest absorption of the product by the body. The taste is sweet and I recommend chilling the bottle prior to consumption.
I thought that 6 bottles isn’t enough for me to make much of a conclusion. However, on the 3rd day, I noticed that my skin was clearer and makeup went on very smoothly. I had some brownish pimple scars which looked lighter. I was pretty much surprised by this.
And the most interesting part was that I was at Fancl doing a skin consultation where they used this microscopic device to check the state of my skin. The SA asked if I was on collagen supplements because my skin’s elasticity was very good and it had this ’3D effect’. WOW! I’m amazed!
So yes, if you’re trying out a new brand of collagen supplements and want to know if they are working. Then head down to any beauty counter that does skin analysis and get your skin tested. They won’t turn you away and neither are you obliged to purchase their products or reveal the brand of Collagen supplements you are taking.
