If you are looking for 2-in-1 product – a BB cream together with a sunscreen. Then you’re in luck because Za has came up with a BB cream that serves both purposes. Armed with an SPF of 43 and PA+++, you can leave out one additional step in your makeup regime, thus, saving some precious snooze time.
The Za Total Hydration BB Cream UV SPF43 PA+++ will be available in Watson stores come May and is retailing for S$15.90.
What does it features?
Amino Mineral Complex deeply moisturizes to heighten & reinforce the skin’s protection barrier and makes skin resistant to damage. The Prism Enhancer smoothly removes excess surface cells and replenishes generous moisture. While Sebum-absorbing powder imparts a non-sticky finish to keep skin feeling fresh. Vitamin B derivative energizes the skin’s inner cells to give skin a healthy-looking glow.
We were invited to the preview event was held at Sogurt where we got to try out the BB cream for ourselves as we enjoyed a free flow of yogurt.

I had Grape yogurt with strawberries and kiwis. Yummy!
Here, Charmaine shows us how the Za Total Hydration BB Cream fairs against another brand of BB Cream.
Here’s how it appears on June’s hand during a comparison test:
The top is Brand X, while the bottom one is Za. As you can see, Za’s has more coverage. It contains Poreless Powder diffuses light to minimize the look of pores and uneven surface. While Colour Control Powder perfectly corrects dullness and uneven skin color to give a natural-looking finish that is one shade lighter. Oil Control Powder spreads pleasantly and effortlessly over skin. This can be used as pre-makeup or foundation and is a one tone fits all shade. It may appear too light/dark for you upon application but it oxides to match your skin tone quickly.
We were given these really cute-looking goodie packs which have been prepared with love. All hand-made by the lovely Za staff!
Check out the Za BB cream brochure, it’s my favorite!

So now that I’ve got my hands on the BB cream, it’s time to try it out.
My trial & thoughts…
Unlike most BB Creams which give a sheen for a dewy look. The Za BB Cream is perfect for those who prefer a matt look due to its sebum-absorbing powder. There is no oily shine upon application.
Coverage was pretty good if you have minimal redness and slight uneven skin tone. However, I still used the Za concealer for my under-eyes. The shade was fine for me, I’m a Za 21 or 22 for compact powder. Makeup stayed on throughout the day for more than 5 hours.
If you are considering a BB cream as part of your makeup regime, then this Za Total Hydration BB Cream is worth a check.
