Estée Lauder is this month introducing its Sumptuous Two Tone Eye-Opening Mascara to travel retail locations across Europe, the Middle East and Africa, following its June debut in the Americas and the UK.
The product, inspired by Creative Makeup Director Tom Pecheux’s backstage technique for a wide-eyed look, combines two contrasting shades and two distinct brushes for instantly lifted, beautiful eyes, according to the brand.
“I love eyes that are made up without looking too made up,” explained Pecheux. “This is a trick I’ve been using backstage and on ad shoots for years. The simple trick of using two different shades – darker on top, lighter on the bottom – work together to really open up the eyes.”
Accordingly, Bold Black mascara is applied to top lashes with the BrushComber™ brush, said to define, lift and thicken even the sparsest lashes with weightless volume and lustrous rich colour.
A tiny micro-brush is claimed to subtly define and add soft lustre and a subtle, smudge-proof Rich Brown hue to hard-to-reach lower lashes.
In other news, Estée Lauder has created two new travel retail exclusive sets. Even Skintone Solutions is available now in Europe, the Middle East and Africa, and will roll out to Asia and the Americas in November.
For the first time, the set combines the brand’s Idealist Even Skintone Illuminator and DayWear Advanced Multi-Protection Anti-Oxidant Moisturizer SPF 15.
Age Prevention Solutions teams Lauder’s Idealist Skin Pore Minimalizing Refinisher with the brand’s DayWear Advanced Multi-Protection Anti-Oxidant Moisturizer SPF 15. This set, available now in Europe, the Middle East and Africa, will be launched in the Americas in September.
