When did you start blogging?
I started blogging 4 years ago. I remembered it because it was around the World Cup season, too!
What made you blog?
I used to have a close friend who blogged too and she always stay over my place to blog. I find it quite interesting so I started my own blog. I like it that I can throw all my emotions into it and post pictures, instead of writing it down. I used to have a diary, but then after a month or so, I lost my interest in writing! But blogging keeps it going! And also, I enjoy reading people's blog.
What motivates you to continue blogging after all these years?
There is no real motivation. I guess the reason is that I just like to blog? HA! And I like to share how I feel - my joy, unhappiness and even anger! I like the idea that I don't have to reveal identities when I vent my emotions out but people who know that I'm talking about him/her will hear me through my blog.
I don't have to tell them straight to their face and through my blog, they understand how I feel.
Heard that you are doing your degree on banking and finance. Where do you see yourself in 5 years time?
OMG! What a question! Like I'm in a job interview! HAHA! Ok, in 5 years time, I see myself working in a foreign bank, with a stable income job that suits me. Hopefully I will already be married by then and have my own apartment! Just a very common and simple one!
In your own opinion, describe the best night out.
It would be a gathering at a friend's place first! We will bring over the outfit for the night and have dinner and some drinks there. And when it's time, we will doll ourselves up - even helping each other to look pretty and all, before heading to our favourite club. We will then have a few bottles of Martel/Henessy, get high and then dance it off! And after that, it is usually supper time!
Or, just sitting down at some coffee chain for gossips and laugh our hearts out till wee hours will be good too! I can also spend hours with my girlfriends at Mustafa too! It is the company that matters! I wouldn't enjoy myself if I club with the wrong people!
Where do you like to club most and why?
It used to be Zouk/Phuture, but now its Rebel/Zirca. I don't know why but maybe I've been to Zouk since I was18! I'm like so old now already, so I'm kinda sick of Zouk. Rebel/Zirca is still fresh to me, and I prefer the music there!
I can get high on the music there itself without much drinks.
What do you treasure most in a relationship/friendship?
In a relationship, I guess faithfulness is something everybody treasure most. I don't think I have the right to say this though. The other thing I treasure most from my ex-boyfriend, is the patience he had for me.
Why did I mention 'from my ex-boyfriend'? It's because of him that I realised how unreasonable and annoying I was at times during our time together but he was so patient to take all the nonsense from me and still doesn't flare up at me most of the time.
In friendship, I guess it's the same for me. The loyalty of a friend and how non-judgmental they are is something I treasure a lot.
I don't really like people who behave like good friends with everybody - feeling obliged to everybody. And I'm not someone like that and those who are close to me are not like that too. I do have many friends but the closer ones are only that few. And I only feel comfortable doing things together with them. There was once I did something I shouldn't and one of my closest friend said, "I don't judge you. I love you for the way you are." This sentence made me treasure her a lot.
Name 3 of your favourite cocktail and why?
1. Hennessy/Martell with Coke. I know this is not the best-tasting cocktail but it's my must-have when I hit the club!
2. Sour apple martini. I like how the taste of sour apple cover the taste of alcohol - it makes it nice and easy to drink.
3. Orgasm. It is a Bailey's cocktail which tastes like chocolate, coffee and almond. It sounds damn appealing, isn't it? But it's kinda creamy for me so just 1 glass will do.
Who is your favourite fashion designer and why?
It's Herve Leger! They design awesome bandage and bodycon dresses. Bodycon dresses are to die for! Herve Leger also has a tinge of sexiness in their designs!
In your opinion, which fashion style/trend that will never fade away?
I think everyone should own a little black dress. I think this style will never fade away. You can pair it with flats for a casual outting. Or you can pair it with killer heels for dinner or night's out in the club. All you have to do is accessorise yourself and you are ready to go!
What does the phrase “MyFatPocket” remind you of?
Someone's pocket is fat due to the amount of ready, disposable money she has in her pocket!
