Hooray !!

Today should be my lucky day ! Because after 3 days , I finally am able to blog !! & its not that I don’t have the time . But due to the lagginess of this website . BOOHOO !!! But in a few months its all going to improve ! Can’t wait !! That way I can blog so much more often . Like how I used to back in blogspot.

Just went for an interview today !! For a local female magazine . Really hope I get the job !! The interview was ooo-kay , I was a little nervous but it turned out not too bad I think ? Well , have to wait for 3-4 days for the telephone call , if I am able to make it to the 2nd interview ! * fingers crossed !! *

So last weekend , MyFatPocket treated us , the resident bloggers , for a dinner over at Wavehouse !! Thank you MyFatPocket !! = )

The 3 course meal we had . The food there , was below standard . & I dare not even mention the service they provide there . They were slow & we kept having to repeat our orders time after time . Never going back there again !!!

The old school cartoon one . I used to have the video tape . My mom bought it for me from Toys’R'us when I was little . Damn bloody expensive can ! One video tape for $49.90 or $39.90 !! & guess what ? I watched the video tape like 90317028310283 times . Every single day after school I would put in the Alice in Wonderland video tape & watch it when I eat my lunch . To the extent I can memorize all the dialogues ! From what Alice says , to the mad hatter , to the animals . I’m like obsessed .

I’m sending resumes ! Well , started sending only today . Haha , decided to quit my job over at the childcare . So , time to look for a new job yes ? Seems like many people is changing job at this time of the year too . Can’t mention names … but like , about 4 of the people I’m close to are considering to change jobs ! So , anyone hiring here ? WANNA HIRE ME ANOT ?!!

SIA is hiring again . Part of me wants to go for the interview but I decided against it .

Flying & traveling , I like .

Staying alone in the hotel , I hate .

The attractive pay , I like .

Being away on festive occasions , I hate .

How I look in the uniform , I LOVE .

Sigh , many pros & cons . & I have no idea if SIA would accept me again . See , I went for the interview 1 year ago & I actually passed all the stages . But when it came to the signing of bond , 18 months with SIA , I rejected because at that point , there were some personal issues . So , some people told me SIA would never hire me again cause I turned them down once , others say that its nonsense & they might accept me if I prove that I’m good . Interview is in late march . STILL GOT TIME TO THINK ! I think boyfriend is going to smack me . HAhahahahaha . I’M LOST LAH !!! Very confused about my futureeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee . Big big sigh .

Went bugis with boyfriend yesterday .. & here’s what I got !!

Randomly picked all these colors because it makes me happy . Like pastel colors . & right now my nails are alternately colored with PINK , GREEN & BLUE . haha .. my kids at the childcare super love it ! But boyfriend says its crazy .

Bought this after reading articles on magazines raving how great it is !! Its supposed to like give you good coverage & at the same time whiten & brighten your skin . & the SPF like damn high too !

Remove the top , & here’s the liquid foundation . Damn cool design . You just press down & a little foundation will be pumped up . Unlike other brands where you have to tilt the bottle to pour out the foundation & often pouring out more than you need !

& what makes me hooked onto this products is … the top part is a cream shimmer highlighter !! You can’t see the shimmer here , but when applied its really pretty ! & ever since I’ve used benefit’s high beam highlighter .. I’m sold ! I can’t go out without highlighting my face ! A small step but it makes a hugeeeee difference . You will look so much fresher & awake ! Okay enough , I sound like I’m selling this product .

My contacts that I’ve ordered have arrived !!

For most who may not know, I do not wear specs and my eye sight is kinda perfect . But I was bored one day surfing with my iPhone at work & chanced upon this site selling lotsa contact lenses .. & yah , me being vainpot who kinda have a little shopaholic’s illness .. decided to purchase them !!

I bought 2 sets of contacts .. 1 in Brown , another in Grey .. I just tried the grey one today ! & I love it !!

I was kinda afraid to wear it because I’ve never tried !! & boyfriend keeps telling me I’m being silly to wanna wear contacts because he finds it a hassle .

Verdict of wearing colored contacts : I think its kinda uncomfortable at first , but after the 1st 2 hours , I got used to it . I even fell asleep wearing it which is bad because my eyes became kinda dry when I woke up . One thing I hate most , getting makeup in my eyes !! I was drawing my eyeliner & a little went in & it kinda sting . Hmm , guess I will only be wearing it when I feel like it . I guess , when I go out & wanna look pretty . My eyes are kinda tired now . & I think its because of the contacts . Boooo . But I really like how BIG it makes my eye looks !! Kinda weird at first , like , my eyes got super magnified .. but I think its growing on me !

Flower hair pin from Forever 21 . Outerwear from Cotton On . Cotton On is like my favorite place to buy casual outfits . I own like shorts, tank tops, cardigans, sunglasses from there . Its dirt cheap & so easy to mix & match with anything I have in my wardrobe . Sucky thing is , tonnes of people have it too . So I’ll always try to make it look different by adding belts/jacket/accessories .
