As you would have known by now, I failed the SIA interview at the last round of interviews as was deemed too skinny for the kebaya uniform.
What is the next best occupation which suits my behaviour, personality and character?
I am someone who cannot stay in an office from 9am to 5pm.
I will be so restless in the office facing the computer for 8 hours a day, 5 days a week, and 22 days a month!
I am a people-person who likes to communicate and meet new friends everyday.
I am also a very caring and patient person who listens and am able to talk to people from all walks of life.
A job with flexible working hours would be perfect! A job where I can dress up stylishly and not be restricted by a corporate square suit!
What if I become a teacher?
Would this job suit my personality? I think I will be the coolest teacher on Earth. But being a teacher requires me to wake up extremely early in the morning ?
How about a psychiatrist?
I will be able to listen to someone and really care for him or her when they need me. But that would mean I need a Masters in Psychology. I am a Diploma graduate, Information Technology.
I have worked in the sales line before. Understanding clients’ needs and getting them their perfect product is always rewarding. I like to help people!
I think I am quite good at that. But after a while, I got sick of selling that one same thing. I need an occupation that is more challenging and requires me to be driven and passionate!
How about a Financial Consultant?
It sounds like an occupation that is much more meaningful where I can assist people in their finances and most importantly, their future. This job has flexible working hours and seems perfect for my personality and character. Plus the money is good!
Where do I start?
I am not sure if I would be able to pass the requisite licensing exams.
Are they difficult? Expensive?
I am a person who is always game for new challenges so this actually sounds very exciting!
