Think you might not want to if you can source for your own modelling assignments. Cause agency will take commission from your assignments. Payment might take quite long also.

I have to agree with YQ. Being a contract model will guarantee you jobs, most of the times, maybe a nice pay cheque..but in exchange, you loose your FREEDOM in making decisions, and Baby, that is a HIGH price to pay. I trust you are not planning to become a full time professional model all your life, its a career that is not very promising in SG. So this is one decision you have to make with the utmost care and consideration. I know I do not decide your life for you but if I have to choose, my answer is NO. Just my thoughts Baby…get more comments from those around you..and remember, Money is all but its not EVERYTHING.

    Hi.
Seem you have the potential as a model, why not sign the contract with them? as you will have more jobs & perharps you will become more known to others, who knows. (:
But maybe you will lose some chance for other jobs too, as some company will state that you will have to stick to the job they give you instead & you could not accept other chances of your modelling service from others.
as it said, when you gain, you will lose.
    thats life.
but in the end, its your choice, its your life, the way you lead though. (:

best to look at the contract and small prints and clauses to see if you’re on the losing end or not. consult a friend who is savvy in such things. a modelling agency can bring you far if they are good. it really depends on the agency, and the contract.

    Hi,

I think it’s best to ask your boyfren as to whether you should take up the job. After all, he is your boyfren and you would have to respect his opinion.
