MFP Whitening Month

Hey girls, the sun's starting to come out and April looks set to be scorching.  How do you beat the sun?  Share your whitening regime with us, and tell us why it works!

it's a MUST to have sunblock and maybe you can try taking oral pills such as Heliocare for extra protection. It doesn't have side effects.
Or try whitening jabs/drip.
I saw on other threads that Dr Karen Soh's clinic is having it.
$250 per jab

In my quest to be fairer, I've done some *ahem* extensive research on whitening. I've tried hada labo whitening, so far ok la, stayed more or less the same, so I guess maintenance-wise it's fine. I think sun-protection shld be the 1st thing to take care of. I've started putting on sunblock and taking oral sun protection peels. Think this really helped, was almost baked to a crisp at the polling station... Highly recommend a sunblock with at least SPF 50 sun protection, UVA + UVB protection, I'm using a sunblock that even has CoQ10, cool huh? Best part, it doesn't melt and has a matt and non-oily finish (perfect under make-up). Also I'm using an oral sunblock from heliocare, troublesome part is my job is outdoors, so run through it fast and can only get from clinic... I'm going to try whitening jab soon, will post my review =)

the lancome sunblock is pretty good...cos it has a UVA sign which means higher level of protection compared to its peers. So when you compare 2 SPF50 sunscreen, the one with UVA sign is better!
Lauder's ive not tried..

the other brand with the UVA sign is Shiseido.

@blushbabe. Try beauty diary whitening mask range (they have a lot!) my favorite is bird nest masks. Or you can try the faceshop pearl masks (;
More info about masks can be found in a forum called beauty masks.

I get tan very easily so i stay at home a lot.
Its only recently when i started to use sunblock. it really does help prevent you from getting that tanned *laughs*

Cath,
I love tans, but still sunblocks/sunscreens is a daily must. I apply them even when I'm just staying home. So i guess, im still very fair ;-)
