You can never go wrong with the famous Swedish high street giant H&M, no matter what time of year it is! We are happy to present the latest collection of our favorite fashion house for the upcoming fall season. The new H&M fall 2011 lookbook is just amazing, featuring American top model Karlie Kloss and Clement Chabernaud. As usual, the Swedish label meets all our expectations, staying loyal to its fashion phrase through simple, sophisticated and affordable pieces.
Speaking about the new fall line of women’s clothing, H&M’s Head of Design Ann-Sofie Johansson says that, “I’m particularly fond of this collection because it’s so easy to wear, so grown up and yet totally of the moment and with such great fashion attitude. Most pieces are fashion classics updated with a new silhouette or shape or simply new styling.”
“Clean and sharp is the look for men this fall, updated with seasonal colors, materials and key pieces. This season’s collection is about indispensible fashion essentials and about creating your own look,” says Andrea Lowenstam, Head Menswear Designer.
And indeed the collection features easy-to-wear elegant pieces, which will suit any occasion and taste. The entire collection is described as highly comfortable, simple yet refined, cozy, elegant, sophisticated and polished. There is a retro, 70’s influence both on the men’s and women’s lookbook. Long- silhouettes and wide-leg pants are back again for women, containing some modern twist in them.
The new H&M Fall women lookbook features cozy chunky knits, blazers, parkas, biker jackets, ponchos, elegant pants, knee-length skirts, stylish dresses, as well as a few chic pieces for evening wear. Think camel, brown, gray, cream and pumpkin shades for the upcoming fall, as well as sweet patterns, like florals, paisley, checks and tweeds. Don’t forget about color blocking and mix/matching!
