Scarves are the in thing now. It adds to the chic factor of your overall outfit. I think they should be a necessity in every girl's wardrobe. Easily found and easily matched with almost every outfit. Love the pairing of the pretty printed scarf with your plain fitting clothes, makes it pop in such a beautiful manner.

A short dress is perfect for the weather in Singapore, simple and sweet. Paired with a high waist belt, your body will have more shape and makes your outfit look less plain. Easy to wear yet fashionable! Add a pretty red tote and we're all set to go!

Sometimes your look needs a little shimmer to give it that extra oomph. As long as it's in moderation. You could have it the Victoria Beckham way, classy yet eye catching or style it up in casual chic with funky shorts.

You know it's a sad, sad day for you when you look like you've taken fashion tips from an obnoxious ah-beng squatting by the roadside.

Pants under a dress? Scratch that. Pants under a clingy body hugging dress. What.. is this. What is the point? Why are there so many layers? I don't understand any of it and it's making my head hurt. By the way, Grandma called. She wants her curtain fabric back.

Your dressing is so absurd it looks like you came out of a Dracula film. What is up with that frilly skirt, it looks like you took it from a martian! And thinking that's not bad enough, you just had to put on a pair of school shoes. WHY? Maybe you should check out our sales section and get yourself a pair of decent shoes.

The latest craze of jumpsuits may not last very long, so enjoy it while you can! And why wouldn't we. A nicely fitted jumpsuit gives you a long lean line, and pairing them with a heel or sandal adds even more visual height. Nice touch with the subtle hair accessory!

Embrace your femininity and banish that fear of prints! A chiffon floral dress is not only comfortable and oh-so-cute, it's also incredibly versatile. Throw on a blazer for warmth and a dash of smart chic-ness, and go without for a flirty fun factor.

Hello, looking snappy there! Here's a piece of advice: A blazer looks good with anything, whether you are wearing a dress, in shorts or tunics, so it would do you good to invest in a quality piece or two! Love the pairing of the dress with the stockings too. Just one grouse though: Don't pair stockings with open toed heels please! Otherwise, gorgeous shoes too!

It's one thing to wear a top and a bottom that complements each other in terms of colours and designs, and a whole other issue to actually pair the themes. Sorry, there's absolutely nothing redeemable about this outfit. You look like a walking comic, except that people are laughing at you, instead of with you.

Black underwear under a beige dress? Tell me you did that on purpose, because I don't see how anyone with a smidgen of common sense would pair the two together. And if you did not do that on purpose, here's a public service announcement for you: If you are going to wear something sheer, please, please, I beseech you, wear nude underwear. Have pity for our eyes!

This top has got to be one of the most unflattering tops I've ever seen. With a capital U. Too many layers at the bust and a too tight stomach area do nothing but make an otherwise slim girl look frumpy and heavy. Horrible!

Some might say this should be under the WORST DRESSED category but some may beg to differ. If you have enough guts to pull polkadots with a clash of colours that way, you sure fit in the world of Quirky Jap Dressing! And in our world, Jap Dressing rocks!

A good example in which daring accessorizing sass-ed up an otherwise plain outfit. Don't get me wrong. Love the layering and just the right amount of denim, but the piece de resistance has got to be that hat. Tres chic!

There's a good reason why the Japanese are the trendsetters of the fashion world. You don't need to dress like a harajuku school girl to emulate the Japanese, rather, be influenced and inspired by the carefree and bold attitude towards dressing, sheer love for fashion, and add a dash of chutzpah, and you are good to go!

Why, for the love of all things holy, would anybody think that that top is acceptable fashion in our society? Or any society for that matter? Get it out of my sight please, it's such an insult to my eyes. And for the last time, slippers? NOT ACCEPTABLE FOOTWEAR FOR TOWN.

I despair over the fashion choices Singaporeans make sometimes, I really do. It's nearly bad enough to keep me up at night and make me want to do ridiculous things, like scream "WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU!" at people who commit horrifying fashion crimes.

Did you actually take a look at yourself in the mirror before you left the house that morning?

Yes? WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOUR MIRROR?

Rainbow top and brown capris?? There's a reason brown isn't a colour of the lovely rainbow okay?

Burn those shoes, by the way. And those socks.

And while you're at it, burn your entire outfit.

Somebody please explain to me why anybody would think that an oversized t-shirt with jeans is acceptable attire when you head into town for shopping. The only time when an outfit like this is socially acceptable is when.. oh wait, never. Maybe except when you're going to the NTUC 5 minutes from your house.

Come on people, have a little dignity! People like you are the reason why us Singaporeans have a bad rep of dressing sloppily! I do not appreciate being lumped together with you people, thank you very much.

Usually it'd be an instant fashion faux pas to dress in the same colour from head to toe, but this girl pulls it off with the varying shades of blue, purple and pink she has on. And who says you need to accessorize according to the weather? Sunglasses do so much more than just providing UV protection; they double up as chic headbands, and scarves add a touch of whimsicality.

There's no better time for the celebration of bright hues and bold patterns than the season of Summer! Maxi dresses are not just limited to the beaches, and it is a great way to pull off that casual chic look without actually having to put in too much effort. Don a vest for that extra 'tude.

Now that's what I like to see! Bright colours! Florals! Hair accessories! It's summer all year round in Singapore and instead of lamenting about the horrendous weather, why not celebrate the fact that we get to enjoy Summer fashion 24/7 by embracing the hues and prints of Summer? If you are afraid of going overboard with floral prints, pairing a basic in a solid colour with a floral piece is always a good first step in the right direction.

Why so boring? Seriously, do you have something against, oh I don't know, colour? No, blue isn't considered a colour when you are wearing it from head to toe, and really, a blue top paired with dark denim? I would weep, except that I have fallen asleep out of sheer boredom.

Why would anybody think that it would be a good idea to dress in the same colour from head to toe, in something that looks like a tracksuit, no less. In purple. Along Orchard Road. Oh honey, unless you are on the way home from gym, wait, there's still no excuse to dress like an aubergine walking around the shopping district of Singapore. If you are indeed on the way home from gym, and you can afford going to gym in Orchard, then you can jolly well afford a change of clothes. If not, that outfit is just tragic.

Ripped denim was never a good look to begin with. Ripped and frayed denim should be banned from the fashion industry, ever. Unless you are Kate Moss, stay far far away from this look lest you want to look sloppy/like a victim of bad fashion/a beggar.

Love your look lady! But I would opt for a less sheer piece such as the one Emma Watson is wearing just for the chilly weather these days. Keep the classy and chic feel with a pair of oxford booties. Go light with the make-up and don't forget to show some waist with a double layer super skinny belt! Won't want people to think that you have no figure right?

Just a casual reminder that nude colours are in, in, IN and this lady has got it all right, right, RIGHT! If I was half as demure as Leighton Meester in Gossip Girl or our best dressed here, I would definitely go for this elegant look for a work day.

Running errands have just become so much more fashionable these days. Time to hide those t-shirts and shorts away for the autumn and bring those linen tops out! I have a thing for a good work satchel, a Mulberry Alexa no less. Talk about a working girl's dream bag? I'm sure many share mine. Top it all off with a set of newly manicured nails while out in town!

Pretty self-explanatory ain't it? Even my neighbour's maid dress so much better for town. And I would never even have this kind of couch in my home to begin with. On the run or something ma'am?

It is one thing being pregnant but it's an entirely different thing to be inspired by the toys you are going to buy for your unborn child. Hello? Gone for your latest check-up yet?

I guess either she was having her recharge before she continues to save lives in the rain, or she thought that wearing the same coloured jacket and pants (in green no less) would change her fengshui. NOT TODAY.
