Regardless of whether you are travelling to the winter countries for holidays, or just looking to adapt the Fall/Winter fashion trends for our warmer climates, here are 8 popular styles that the K-pop stars were spotted in this season.

1. Berets

Just when we thought that berets were mostly used as a French satire, they started appearing on the Dior and Chanel runways and it is no surprise that berets made a huge comeback this Fall/Winter 2018. We scrolled through the Instagrams of the K-pop stars and so many of them were spotted with berets. We can almost guarantee that the berets are one of the most popular accessories you need this season.

2. Long padded jacket

The long padded winter coat trend first started in Korea in 2017, with North Face's jackets being one of the most popular ones amongst the young and fashionable. The trend picked up again this winter with a wider range of colours and designs.

4. Animal prints

We are seeing an animal print revival and they are a dominant theme in many runway shows. Designers are indulging in animal prints and the trend is filtered down to the fashionistas and in fact, anyone on the street. Don't worry about looking trashy in animal prints. You just need to get the right items and style them boldly and appropriately.

Be inspired by Boa's top to toe leopard prints outfit in her "Woman" music video. Alternatively, go subtle with just one leopard print item like Taeyeon.

5. Lavender

You want to take a break from millennial pink but yet still want to indulge in those feminine shades? Opt for lavender this season. It is easy to pull off, and adds a pop of colour to the neutral and moody shades of the Fall/Winter palette.

It is time to embrace the plaid trend if you haven't. From skirts to dresses and 2-piece suits, or pick from plaid accessories like hats and scarves to include the trend in your OOTD.

7. White boots

Black boots are our staples for Fall/Winter outfits but how about shaking things up a bit this year with white boots instead?

White boots are a reminder of the '60s but the fashion world is definitely welcoming its comeback. Be the white that stands out in the sea of black and we don't see why you should be rejecting it since white is so versatile and it matches with almost everything.
