can somebody tell me what's serums/ essences for? when to use it? is it after applying my toner & moisturiser?

Basically they are more concentrated skincare that targets specific skin concerns. Some are used before toner and some after moisturizer.

i have heard ppl using Rosehip Oil as intensive serum.. said to be very moisturizing..

yeah rosehip oil is ultra nourishing. it can boost the skin's hydration and radiance instantly

Don't really serums but BodyShop does a Vitamin-C skin energizing and whitening serum which I was almost going to try but serums aren't really my thing . Rather take care of my skin using natural substances like an Aloe vera mask three times a week - its so refreshing!

Serums are great for the extra boost your skin needs without loading it with a ultra creamy moisturizer..

Put serum day and night

i use 2 diff kinds of serums, one for day one for night, yes along with moisturizers.

my day serum is more for clarifying and reduce pores and is less oily - then apply day moisturizer and SPF cream.

Night serum is more for hydrating - then apply night moisturizer!

actually i;ve been told it is ok to even put 2 serums then moisturizer, serums are NOT moisturizers so it won't feel too heavy to apply 2. just got to let them set in first before piling them up!
