if you prefer hands on, MFP have a makeup academy B2B, you can check that out or Google for other MU schools.

I would say the best way is to trial and error. that's what I do.

If you don't wanna pay. I think youtube is the best place to learn MU.

If you want to play safe first go sign up those workshop from cosmetic brands like Estee Lauder (Recently they have one) and it's full redeemable on their products. This actually you are paying for their product and getting FOC lesson.

More professional ones probably you can go FEP 5th level they got makeup school but that's more for stage makeup.
Another way like what Miyaki said learn from youtube, but I feel it's best going to workshop first to get the right tools ^^

Bobbi Brown holds lessons with fully redeemable products too, and these are usually tied with their latest launch. So if you do see a new look / launch you like, try and attend the session. Personally, I thought the lessons were not bad.

I learn mine from Mary Kay. A friend from the forum invited me to their free workshop, i find their session on makeup and tips useful.

Have since sign up to be their consultant and is also offering free makeup tips to ladies.
