not at all, that's what i did and it makes quite alot of difference to your appearance!

to anyone whose considering braces, the pain is quite bearable and only for 2/3 days a month (after the orthodontist tightens your braces). to illustrate, i could eat ljs crunchy shrimps the day after i got them LOL. to me the most most painful part was when they did the anesthetic injection before extracting your teeth OHMYGAWD.

p.s. if you're prone to ulcers (like me) you're gonna have a harder time. cos even people who rarely get ulcers will get them once they have braces on cos of the abrasion of the metal against your mouth. i think must start eating more fish, vitamin c etc. during the period

try national dental center. think i did mine for bout 3k?
plus the pain was tolerable and it really did change my face shape and all.
didn't regret putting it on. (:

So did you have the "metal" only on your two front tooth? Or have to get the whole set? Since the rest of my teeth are actually straight ...
