I'm using cyber colour eye make up remover which I think it very very good.
can get at sasa for less than $10 for a small bottle?
For face make up remover I'm using the rice essence water (i think) from the face shop.
It is SUPER good. Like usually after a day out, some of your face powder will have "drop" and the rest is absorbed in your pores.
The cleaner I'm using can effectively clean out the "hidden" powder in your pores. There's like all those face powder residue when I wipe off the remover from my face.

Haha excuse my terminology :/

Biore's facial wipes and Chanel's gentle eye/lip makeup remover.
Cleansing Express is also quite a good makeup remover.

This Face Shop sounds good. Is it very strong? I tend to break out if the remover I used is to harsh or too strong. Currently using the Loreal Cleansing Milk which is ok unless I have very heavy make-up on and I have to cleanse more than twice to remove everything. Then the skin feels a little irritated after that.

Heard the Meltie is good too. (but a bit on the expensive side).

Does it cleanse well? I'm usually very skeptical of these cheap alternatives as they don't really cleanse well and so there may be makeup residue left behind, clogging your pores.

Me too. It's not that I'm a brand snob -- but I had horrible acne when I was a teen-ager (I had to go through Accutane) and I just don't want to go back to that dark world again...

I just learned to become a bit more aware and careful about the stuff I put on my face. Yeah, after all the "resources" that my mum (and eventually I) had to put on it.

I understand what you mean. After all that effort, you just don't want to let all your efforts go down the drain.

Im very afraid of ruining my skin too. I have had allergic reactions that made my whole face swell. Terrible.

Allergic reactions? Oh dear -- were you able to pinpoint what exactly causes the allergies???

How long does it swell up for?

Yeah -- best be careful of your skincare cosmetics. That sounds pretty scary... Are hypoallergenic stuff generally okay for you?
