Mariah Carey closed the three-day F1 race festival yesterday night at the Padang in a show that was frankly, underwhelming, with too many intermissions, and one too many irrelevant supporting acts.
Nevertheless, the vocal powerhouse managed to delight fans with a repertoire of her best hits and slick backup dancers, never mind that she could no longer hit the power notes like before. Still, one of the highlights of the show was her delightful banter with the audience. Diva reputation? Hardly! Adobe Flash Player not installed or older than 9.0.115!
At one point, Mariah slipped but always the consummate performer, managed to recover graciously.
