Here are the foods to live the sakura dream without leaving Singapore.

Starbucks- Strawberry Honey Blossom Creme Frappuccino

Gone are the days of drooling over pictures of the pastel pink beverage on IG and wondering when are they going to reach our sunny island. Yes, this year, we are going to get our very own sakura-themed beverages from Starbucks. The Singapore’s rendition comes with strawberry, and vanilla crème, and is accentuated with honey-flavoured whipped cream along with a ribbon of freeze-dried strawberries and crunchy pink rice puffs. Available until 30th April 2018.

Ippudo - Sakura Ramen

As the name suggests, the Sakura Ramen from Ippudo comes in pretty salmon-pink rather than the usual yellow colour. Specially made using sakura powder, the ramen is accompanied with a medley of fresh ingredients such as pork belly cha shu, spring onion, sliced lettuce and shredded seaweed, and garnished with house-made spicy mentaiko sauce and pink sugar. Available until 30th April.

Lady M- Sakura Berry Mille Crêpes

Despite being the pioneer of mille crepes, the New York confectionery does not rest on its laurels and continues to tantalise our taste buds with its innovative creations. This year, it pays homage to the floral season by garnishing its signature crepes with sakura-flavoured white ganache and strawberries. Speaking of it, we couldn’t wait to bite into the delectable layers and let the luscious, and subtly sweet strawberry-infused cream melts in our mouths. Available until 30th April 2018.

Nana’s Green Tea- Sakura Strawberry Parfait

Don’t be deterred by the café’s name if you are not a fan of green tea. Despite its name, green is certainly not the only colour that you will see in your desserts. One such creation is the Sakura Strawberry Parfait that is dressed in pretty pink and red, and ingredients such as Sakura Ann paste, strawberries and strawberry ice cream. Do try out the Sakura Shiratama Latte too if you are feeling thirsty. Available on every weekday (2.30 pm-9.30 pm) and weekend (2 pm- 9.30 pm) till 30th April 2018.

TWG- Always Sakura Tea

This year, the home-grown brand celebrates the ephemeral Sakura season with its Always Sakura Tea. Blended with Rainier cherry and sweet florals, the luxuriant tea gives an intoxicating aroma and smooth aftertaste that leaves you craving for more with each sip. With a lifespan similar to the cherry blossom, we say be quick to purchase before it disappears.
