Since I blogged about my new Samantha Vega yesterday, might as well keep the ball rolling and blog about my first Samantha Thavasa. This bag is extremely special to me for many reasons.

#1 I never once expected to spend more than $500 for a Hello Kitty bag

#2 It was my first Samantha Thavasa piece after drooling at them in magazines for years

#3 The BF gave up his “WTF-why-do-bags-cost-so-much” attitude to the most frivolous bag in the world. I swear I heard his credit card scream “NOOOO DON’T DO THIS! THERE’S NO GOING BACK!” as it was being swiped. (I still love my bag after all these months baby, and thank you for shelling out for this although I know that it hurt you!)

My kitty never fails to get attention when I bring it out and most of my kitty fan friends are dying to get their hands on one of these. The only person so far who has gotten one is my sister, who quite literally ran to ST at Ion 30 minutes after she saw mine. She managed to get the last piece. I only got my greedy paws on mine after a 3 month wait =(

I got the matching card holder a few months later to complete the set!
