Happy Lunar Chinese New Year! 

I’ve been continuously eating steam boat for 5 days already (only because I’m addicted to it and my parents had to replenish the ingredients for me to play with :X)

Currently busy with:
Watching Cycle 11 of America’s Next Top Model while I’m typing this delayed entry,
hoping that it’s not too late yet.

Schedule’s beyond hectic and thus, the lack of time for a manicure appointment.
Painted red and a little shimmery to match the season:

The biggest hit in town.
Forget about the other competing film (as seen from the reviews around),
this is totally worth the catch.

I haven’t been laughing that much from movies lately,
this comedy easily got me laughing from the beginning till the end.

As my darling had a small involvement in the show,
she invited us together with her for the movie premiere.

I’m proud of her! It’s her turn to invite us :DDD

After we managed to get a glimpsed of Zhu Hou Ren, we scooted off into the cinema:

A month ago, I entered the room and was shocked by my BF’s doing.
He actually did this to my mini piggy bolster, only because he’s jealous
that I would be hugging it to sleep :(((

In the movie itself, there would be a scene of Christopher Lee tying all of
Fann’s soft toys on the ceilings. LOL, such coincidental.

I couldn’t stop laughing at the part whereby Christopher tore the lion’s head apart. Wahaha.

I think guys these days are damn sadistic :X

Reunion lunch was held at BF’s place.

This is a delayed entry dated a month back.
And I’ve also attended the Maybelline’s “Mineral Launch” just yesterday.

**Hint: Pay extra attention to the details in this entry.

There was a mini contest being held and
the top ten best make up would win the gel eyeliner.
Hence, I had to remove my makeup and reapply it with the products provided.

After look:

I opted for a simple make up with my eyes as the main focus.
First, I applied my base with the pearly gold eye shadow from Maybelline’s color palette
and lined my eyes with the brown gel eyeliner.

Then I blended the liner for a softer and sweeter look.
I also further highlighted the look by lining the inner corners of my eyes
with the provided “Smooth Pencil Shadow” in gold.

I’ve tried several eyeliners ranging from pencil to liquid and to gel,
from different brands before.
But this is honestly the best of the best that I’ve came across.
Lining the bottom rim of the eyes is never an easy task.
But Maybelline made it possible with the smoothness of the liner

Go for it if you do not want smudging beneath your eyes after a day of shopping
(It’s proven credible and is currently my daily usage).

Simple and easy steps that I do daily

for the maintenance and care of my precious hair!

1st step:

After washing my hair with shampoo and conditioner,

I would towel it dry and leave it to air naturally while I do up my makeup.

Some of my girlfriends would dry their hair with the fan. Lol.

Whatever method you use, avoid blowing it with a hairdryer

as it’s pretty damaging for the hair.

Once it’s partially dry, I would then brush it carefully,

avoiding the braiding portion of my extensions.

It’s important to brush my hair to prevent my extensions from tangling.

Here’s basically how I would do it, brush it on the front first, then the back:

2nd step:

Sometimes, I would straighten my hair during bad hair days; when it’s not that straight and frizz-free.

I’m quite a perfectionist and would pay attention to small minor details,

so it’s important to me that my hair is always well kempt.

However, before straightening your hair,

always remember to spray and comb through your damp hair

with L’OREAL studio HotStraight thermo straightening spray!

It straightens and protects you hair to provide silky result!

Make sure that your hair is dry before you utilize the tongs.

Finally:

To ensure the smoothness and the shine of my hair,

the application of leave on conditioner (Non-rinse hair treatment essence) is a MUST!

It repairs my hair and prevents knots and tangles in my hair while creating a beautiful straight hair!

Always apply from your hair roots and comb through your hair with the remaining essence. But please avoid the scalps!

Bonus tip:

Remember to do hair treatment every other week!

For me, I go with “D.I.Y” method.

I would apply moisture treatment mask every once a week to deeply repair

and straighten my hair. It also helps to prevent breakage and split ends!
