I had this planned out, all prepared to shower her with love and surprises.

My mum takes care of the entire family, in and out.

Despite being the love one that I would have to give it all with my heart,

this benevolent and lovely lady makes me wanna do even more,

just to watch her smile.

As usual, she went: “It’s ok, don’t have to do this, don’t have to waste money on that…”

But seriously, which woman doesn’t?

They just love it yet refuse to admit so. And how can i not understand her?

Because she’s the one who had went through all these pain

to raise me up to what I’m today,

I’m thankful and I always believe that it’s important to show this love from within.

Little light bulb came along to interrupt our date.. Hahahaha. Kidding.

But this irritating mummy of mine managed to read my mind

and burst the bubble the day before, by saying:

“What plan? Chey. You bringing me for massage right…”

Arrgghhh..

Right, tell me about it man!

But hello mummy, you think it’s that easy to defeat me?

MUHAHAHA.

Here’s my little secret up my sleeves that’s definitely gonna send her flying:

Mummy loveeeeee lilies! And the arrangement is exactly what she adores.

This was the least expected because I got the florist to bring it up to the massage parlor.

And just right after she finished changing, I popped this into her face.

I swear, her expression was priceless!

I also sent one of this bouquet to the BF’s mummy!

Called her after the flowers arrive at her doorsteps to wish her happy mother’s day.

Heard from baby that she’s grinning from ear to ear & have placed the flowers in a vase (:

Thai massage has always been my favorite.

My body’s often aching from work and computer usage,

Thai massage stretches and loosen the muscles and thus relieves pain and stress.

After the wonderful massage, we felt refresh and carried on with the date!

Off we went to this fusion restaurant!

Japanese + Westernize cuisines; such awesome combination!

Love the ambience and decorations:

The staffs there greeted us in Japanese, while the settings’ westernize.

As expected, the food was satisfying.

My recommendation?

The chicken. Both were so tender and practically melts in the mouth!

And I meant it, literally!

After all I had researched and went through all comments/reviews

before I finally made up with my decision.

It was certainly worthwhile (:

This is the key that they gave to me at the end of our lunch,

for me to make the payment at the cashier.

Such innovation isn’t it?

We then summed up the entire day by playing with Joey at the kid’s arcade.

Ok, more of me playing with her rather -.-

I managed to burn about 400 calories as stated by the game.

WAH! I was totally perspiring after the session la!

We called him didi korkor because he used to be the youngest kid of the lot,

until we were born.

Simple and easy steps that I do daily

for the maintenance and care of my precious hair!

1st step:

After washing my hair with shampoo and conditioner,

I would towel it dry and leave it to air naturally while I do up my makeup.

Some of my girlfriends would dry their hair with the fan. Lol.

Whatever method you use, avoid blowing it with a hairdryer

as it’s pretty damaging for the hair.

Once it’s partially dry, I would then brush it carefully,

avoiding the braiding portion of my extensions.

It’s important to brush my hair to prevent my extensions from tangling.

Here’s basically how I would do it, brush it on the front first, then the back:

2nd step:

Sometimes, I would straighten my hair during bad hair days;

when it’s not that straight and frizz-free.

I’m quite a perfectionist and would pay attention to small minor details,

so it’s important to me that my hair is always well kempt.

However, before straightening your hair,

always remember to spray and comb through your damp hair

with L’OREAL studio HotStraight thermo straightening spray!

It straightens and protects you hair to provide silky result!

Make sure that your hair is dry before you utilize the tongs.

Finally:

To ensure the smoothness and the shine of my hair,

the application of leave on conditioner (Non-rinse hair treatment essence) is a MUST!

It repairs my hair and prevents knots+ tangles while creating a beautiful straight hair!

Always apply from your hair roots & comb through your hair with the remaining essence.

But please avoid the scalps!

Bonus tip:

Remember to do hair treatment every other week!

For me, I go with “D.I.Y” method.

I would apply moisture treatment mask every once a week to deeply repair

and straighten my hair. It also helps to prevent breakage and split ends!
