Botulinum Toxin, more popularly known as Botox, is an aesthetic treatment that’s been around for some time. As it relaxes the muscles, it has been used to treat muscle spasms and headaches as well.

Today, Botulinum Toxin is widely used to treat many issues including wrinkles and excessive sweating on the palms and underarms. It is highly effective and yet, misconceptions toward this treatment abound. In this video, Dr Celine Leong of ASTIQUE, THE AESTHETIC CLINIC addresses some myths surrounding Botulinum Toxin. Dr Celine has been practicing aesthetic medicine for 5 years and she has encountered her fair share of myths when it comes to treatments in this field.

Watch the video and see what she has to say about Botulinum Toxin.

Dr Celine is known for her generosity in sharing her knowledge, as evident throughout this series of myth-busting videos. She firmly believes that everyone has the right to know and to understand both their condition and their treatment options better. As efficient a treatment may be, the safety and well-being of the individual takes precedence.

We would like to thank Dr Celine Leong for her time and insights. We hope that she has helped you better understand the aesthetic treatments that have been highlighted throughout this series. Remember, knowledge doesn’t hurt and it’s always better to be safe than sorry.

From all of here at Aesthetics Hub, have a beautiful day!
