For any of you ladies who are feeling a little inadequate after Tuesday night’s Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show, Angel Selita Ebanks wants you to know they’re not as hot as they look on TV (well, at least not quite).
She reveals,”It’s all about creating the illusion of this amazing body on the runway. People don’t realize that there are about 20 layers of makeup on my butt alone.”
Twenty layers – talk about having it caked on!
Apparently the body makeup alone takes about an hour to apply plus hair and face makeup, which can take up to five hours. A team of about five people works on each individual model, all 38 of them.
Damn! But we have to say, we love Selita’s honesty.
They must look forward to their post-show shower!
Oh it’s really nice of you to try to convince us mere mortals that the insane beauty of the Victoria’s Secrets’ models are not completely au naturale, Selita, but I hardly think any of us could look like 6 feet Greek Goddesses even with thirty layers of makeup, butt and all. Some of us are just not born with neverending legs, defined features, flat stomachs…
I could go on forever but I shall just watch this video again and then lament about the lack of fairness in the world.
