First impression?
I LOVE the smell. It smells like a healthy blend of coconut and fruits that you would get in a smoothie bowl when you’re in Bali.
This luxury hair masque is created using 5 key ingredients: coconut, fig, shea butter, argan oil and linseed which we all know work super well to restore dry damaged locks. Not only does the hair masque improve hair texture and shine, it also hydrates and deeply conditions hair to treat split ends and tame frizz. Think of it as a 10-minute miracle transformation!
To apply it, simply shampoo your hair as normal, ideally using a sulfate-free shampoo. Then evenly distribute a generous amount of product to your towel dried hair and brush through with their unique Tangle Tamer. (This may sound complicated but it is actually super easy to use, I managed to spread the product on evenly throughout my VERY LONG hair in less than a minute.) Leave in on for 5 to 10 minutes then rinse with warm water, and you’re done!
For dry hair, it’s best to use the mask 2-3 times a week and for normal hair, 1-2 times a week. For oily hair, as the product is very nourishing, just once a week will do and focus the product towards the ends of the hair and avoid the scalp.
For me, as I can’t visit the salon as frequently these days due to work commitments, I now use this hair masque as my own intensive treatment! Simply apply the mask at the end of your shower (or apply it to dry hair) and cover with a shower cap or silk scarf that you don’t mind using for this purpose. Rinse out in the morning and you’ll have silky soft hair!
(By the way, the Tangle Tamer makes a great daily brush too. I like to use it to brush my hair every morning to smooth out any tangles in my hair after rolling around in my sleep haha. It has a special 2-tiered bristle technology, to detangle with minimal breakage and damage.)

Obviously, my hair isn’t totally straight cause I have natural curls but please see the difference in texture!
My only issue with the masque is that it doesn’t come in a cabin-friendly travel size. It is only currently available in a 212ml/7.2 fl jar – in case you’re wondering, if you use a tablespoon of product per application, you can expect the jar to last roughly 12 uses.
Anyway, despite the size, it didn’t deter me from packing it into my suitcase on my recent China trip. I’m glad I did too! All that polluted air, late nights, cigarette smoke everywhere and change in water conditions really took a toll on my hair and I could feel the difference after just one wash! More importantly, I like how the unique formula of the masque really moisturises and conditions without weighing your hair down or making it greasy.
