Shake Shack debuted the Chick’n Shack when they opened their second outlet in Singapore last month.
If you haven’t visited the new outlet at 89 Neil Road, it’s time to head down to the design-focused Shack that sits on the site of the former Tiger Balm factory in the CBD. Apart from Shake Shack’s highly instagrammable yummy food, the restaurant definitely has many photo spots that all you live-for-the-‘gram people want to take your OOTD at (hint: that tiger mural on the wall that pays tribute to its former tenant, pastel furnishings, and those American booth seating).
With the opening of its second outlet, Shake Shack debuted a new burger in Singapore, the Chick’n Shack to tantalize our tastebuds. The Chick’n Shack is a crispy 100% all-natural and antibiotic-free chicken breast slow-cooked in a creamy buttermilk marinade and crisp-fried. The chicken is then topped with shredded lettuce, pickles and a tangy buttermilk herb mayo, and served on a pillowy potato roll.
“The Chick’n Shack embodies our modern approach to fine casual American cooking,” said Mark Rosati, Shake Shack’s Culinary Director. “It’s about providing a simple, pleasurable, uncomplicated experience, but with high-quality, responsibly sourced ingredients. It wasn’t until we found the chicken sandwich to be as flavourful as our ShackBurger that we knew we’d crafted something special that had earned its place on the menu in 2016. We couldn’t be more excited to finally bring it to Singapore, the first country in Southeast Asia to serve it.”
The Chick’n Shack ($9.20) is available at both 89 Neil Road and the Jewel Changi Airport Shack.
