From tweezing to waxing and microblading, we’ve tried many ways to achieve those Insta-worthy brows like that of Cara Delevigne. And the new kid on the block? Eyebrow lamination.

Eyebrow lamination hails from Russia, and has became a really big deal in the west. It helps both ladies and gentlemen to achieve those full brows minus the pain of microblading. Only one or two brow salons are offering the eyebrow lamination in Singapore, but I’m sure it will pick up momentum over time.

What is eyebrow lamination?
Eyebrow lamination is basically a perm for your eyebrows to tame unruly hair and set them in place. It is a keratin treatment to give your eyebrows that “just combed” effect to create an illusion of thicker and fuller brows since they are fluffier and more defined after treatment. Unlike microblading, there is absolutely no cuts and no pain involved.

How does it work?
Just like any eyebrow service, the beauty therapist should help you decide on the right eyebrow shape and style for you. Once that is done, she will apply a solution onto your eyebrows to make them straight and flexible and set them in place. After that, the beauty therapist should apply a nourishing serum to keep your eyebrows strong and healthy and ta-da! Your eyebrow lamination is completed.

The treatment takes around an hour to complete, there is absolutely no downtime. Eyebrow lamination can last for about 4 to 6 weeks and you can expect natural and fluffy brows that requires minimal grooming.
