Seems like it’s time to bring your attention back to the humble hairband, which jazzes up your look immediately, effortlessly.

Prada debuted padded headbands in their Spring 2019 shows, and hairbands, especially the padded versions, have been very much on the fashion radar.  With social distancing in place and the majority of us still working from home, hairbands also became our saviour because we can put them on and immediately look polish enough for a Zoom meeting.

From padded hairbands to embellished or knotted ones, started accessorising your hair with a perfectly placed band across your hair to bring out that fashion girl in you.

Read on to see how the celebrities and style influencers are wearing their hairbands recently and get inspired.

Alexandra Lapp looks classy in a simple, black, padded hairband that matched perfectly with her black Lady Dior. Embed from Getty Images

Vreni Frost wore a flower printed blouse by Dolce & Gabana and a hairband by Versace. She toned down those beach vibes from her floral blouse and added city vibes to her look with her accessories. Embed from Getty Images

Get creative and use a silk scarf as a headband as Alexander Lapp did.

You can wear a hairband with a low ponytail for that chic look and we have to agree that Influencer Carina Grendel looked totally stylish and intellectual here. She opted for an olive green braided hairband from Kos.

Black and white never go wrong, and we are totally in love with Lea Neumann look here. That simple black hairband gave an otherwise plain look a magical touch.

Prefer something a little more feminine? Go for a more dramatic pink padded velvet hairband, and match them with sweet floral prints on your outfit. Don’t forget to put on your favourite red lip colour. Embed from Getty Images

Aya Suzuki and Ami Suzuki wore embellished padded hairbands on their bright pink bob. Just when you said that it can be hard to style your hair when it is shorter than shoulder length, they prove you wrong… a hairband is all you need.
