Halley’s Rejuran Healing Treatment Facial for Anti-Ageing and Glow

They said that you are only as old as you feel, but then again, the lines on my face are telling a different story.

Don’t get me wrong, I’m all about aging gracefully and I am comfortable in my own skin. However, I still want to look good while I’m at it, and making sure that my skin is healthy is my priority.

Consultation

I first had a consultation with Dr. Mark Lim from Halley Medical Aesthetics and he agreed that my skin deserved a little pampering and recommended the Rejuran Healing Treatment Facial to smooth fine lines, brighten dull skin, improve my skin’s hydration, skin tone, and my general skin health.

Step 1: Radio frequency (RF) skin firming therapy

The therapist went on to explain that she will be using RF energy to heat my skin tissues and stimulate sub-dermal collagen production in my skin as the next step to firm up my skin. Something that I needed for my saggy skin. The RF energy will reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, improve blood circulation and oxygenation, and lift and brighten skin.

The whole process was a very comfortable one, and it felt like a warm massage on my skin. By this time, I was already on my way to dreamland.

Step 2: Rejuran serum skin infusion

After cleansing and skin exfoliation, my skin was infused with the Rejuran anti-ageing serum containing a cosmetic version of PDRN (c-PDRN), hyaluronic acid (HA), and amino acid. It was done via iontophoresis, which uses a series of gentle electric pulses to push the serum deeper into the skin to ensure maximal absorption.

The last step of the Rejuran Healing Treatment Facial was none other than a mask application. There were two Rejuran masks to choose from – The Rejuran Healing Mask and the Rejuran Recover Soothing Mask.

The therapist assessed my skin condition and picked the Rejuran Recover Soothing Mask for me. I had a couple of pimples on my face on the treatment day and she told me that the Rejuran Recover Soothing Mask will accelerate the healing of acne-prone and irritated skin, lift, hydrate and whiten my skin, improve the appearance of fine lines, repair and calm damaged skin. Seemed like the perfect choice for me.

Step 4: Skincare application

The therapist removed my mask after around half an hour and proceeded to apply skincare products from Halley’s Brilliance range of physician-grade skincare products on my face, giving my skin the nutrition and protection it needs before I leave the clinic.

My thoughts:

I checked my face in the mirror after the facial and it was glowing. It looked absolutely dewy, just like that coveted Korean glass skin that we see everywhere on social media. The fine lines around my eyes were significantly reduced, and my face looked firm and lifted, all thanks to the RF skin firming therapy.
