With the increasing demand for automation in various industries, many companies are developing AI 3D vision solutions that can be used easily and inexpensively with small and medium-sized automation.
This is the story of AIdoop, a startup that was founded only three months ago with the idea of applying automation, previous the area mainly handled by large companies, to small and medium-sized enterprises by the cooperation of key talents in the fields of smart logistics, smart factory, computer vision, and AI.
With long experience and know-how in large corporations, it searched for a niche market and came up with small-scale automation that could be introduced easily, quickly and inexpensively to SMEs.
(1 – Vision Robot Operation UI)
By adding eyes and intelligence to the collaborative robot which is a general commercial product, automation can be easily applied in logistics, manufacturing sites, and food service stores.
Although there are similar solutions, it is not easy to implement due to the hassle of initial introduction and difficulty in maintenance. However, what’s great to hear is that AIdoop’s solution has adapted with the industry, and even has an intuitive UI and easy calibration so that novices can install and use them.
(2 – Chicken Robot Prototype)
Currently, AIdoop has completed developing the chicken frying robot that can be used in chicken restaurants, and it will soon be replacing operations in restaurants moving forward.
Other existing chicken robots use the mechanical method with complex and difficult initial teaching stages by attaching various sensors to collaborative robots, which makes the initial installation difficult and the price high. However, this solution adds a vision to the existing robot, drastically reducing the number of sensors and the initial teaching stage, solving the problem of training and maintenance with AIdoop’s latest robust and efficient offerings at an even lower price.
(3 – Vision robot consultation)
While solutions for cooperative robots has been completed, AIdoop is also enhancing their capabilities in fields such as vision solutions for drones and Auto Guided Vehicles (AGVs). It is also planning to apply this in the near future when it comes to the distribution platform in the Southeast Asian digital warehouse network.
The company is going to actively promote its solution in Korean and Southeast Asian markets when COVID-19 dwindles.
Currently, we’re in co-operation with a Malaysian partner, and we’re planning to apply their pick-and-place solution with our AI 3D vision, effectively implementing it in downtown Kuala Lumpur’s distribution center.
