A cosmetic surgeon to the stars in Taiwan has been accused of taking nude photographs of his female patients under anesthesia and molesting them.
Dr Hung Hsin-yu became an overnight sensation after performing a Gangnam Style parody with his fellow doctors and nurses to promote the Dr Enherya chain of clinics. His former model girlfriend Li Wei exposed him when she told Taiwan’s Next Magazine that at least 10 actresses and models were the pervert surgeon’s victims. The victims’ identities have yet been revealed.
Li said she had asked him to delete all the images on his computer so that he would not be caught out like Justin Lee, but the doctor refused, saying: “Justin was stupid [that’s why he got arrested]!”
Justin – a 27-year-old socialite from Taiwan who drugged and raped some 50 women including actresses and models – was arrested after police seized hundreds of his sex videos and pictures.
Li, also 27, claimed there were more than 100 photographs on the doctor’s hard drive, which have been seized by police. Also taken away from his home in Taiwan was his cellphone that was used to take the pictures.
“They [the women] look like dead bodies [in the pictures],” added the model.
She said the doctor used to send her naked pictures of his patients, including close-up shots of their breasts. She also said he performed minor surgeries for his patients at his house for a cheaper fee.
Dr Hung, 37, who was invited to be a guest on many TV variety shows after gaining fame through the Psy parody, denied all allegations.
“There were nurses and an anaesthetist around during the surgeries. So, there just wasn’t any chance of me being alone with the patients,” he claimed, adding the photographs were for documentation purposes.
Li and Dr Hung began dating in February but broke up a few months later.
