I am not fat but I have a flat round face. I have long straight hair now (one length) but I want to get a new hairstyle. What would suit my face shape and not make it look so broad?
If you have a round face, you should try to minimise the broadness of your face by having a style with face-framing layers. You shouldn’t have straight across “china doll” bangs because it cuts the length of the face, but if you do want a fringe, then have long side swept bangs that end at the cheekbones. This will help create the illusion of a more chiselled and less round face.
Depending on how big a change you want…here are some variations of styles that will suit a round face
Side swept fringe that end at the cheekbones help camouflage roundess by covering part of the face.
Textured/waved, with layers that frame the face.
Side swept fringe, plus you can add volume on the top of a short crop to add height to the face.
Enjoy Your New Look!
