Makeup artists have been creating the tie-dye eye makeup on celebrities and it is fast becoming the next beauty trend to jump on. Lisa Eldridge created the look for Cara Delevingne for her appearance at the London premiere of Carnival Row. She used bright colours like yellow and pink on Cara's top and bottom lids, and blend them together to achieve the tie-dye effect.

Lucy Boynton also wore the tie-dye eye makeup to the 2019 Venice Film Festival but hers came in a different colour palette. Her makeup artist Jo Baker used yellow, pink, and turquoise shades for her tie-dye look, and she mentioned that she was inspired by "strolling around #stmarkssquare staring at beautiful #gelato cafe displays" and also "seeing everyone’s #labourdayweekend posts".
