Super Junior Is Making a 9-Member Comeback in October

For the past 10 years, our K-pop giant Super Junior had their members taking turns to fulfil their military duties. The maknae of the team, Khuhyun, was discharged from military this year and the group is now finally complete and at their full strength again.

Fans will be elated to know that the 9-member Super Junior is gearing up for a comeback with their 9th album and they have launched a countdown clock on Sep 3 for 999 hours, setting the comeback date to Oct 14, 6 pm (KST). Seems like they are focusing a lot on the number 9, since coming back as a complete group means a lot to the members who have been together since their debut 14 years ago.

Super Junior also released nine cryptic images on their social media, featuring one member in each photo in a retro backdrop. However, the faces of the members weren't revealed and that sent the fans into a frenzy of guessing who's who, creating a buzz prior to their comeback.

That's not all. SJ Returns will make a return for a third season on Sep 9 and fans will get a sneak peek of the behind-the-scenes footages for the album preparations, and what each member has been up to recently.

And the climax of Super Junior's comeback? Super Junior will be embarking on their world tour for "SUPER JUNIOR WORLD TOUR ― SUPER SHOW 8", starting from their home ground in Seoul on Oct 12 and 13. However, bad news for E.L.Fs (Super Junior's fandom), they will be touring as an eight-member group instead of nine, as Heechul will have to sit out from the world tour due to his bad health and injuries.
