It’s a little pleasure mixed with a little terror. Ok… a lot of terror! But bungee jumping has always been one of the most exhilarating experiences anyone can have.

Check out Kawarau Bungy Centre in Queenstown. It is nestled into the rock face above the magnificent Kawarau Gorge. If you want to be tied up & thrown off a bridge with your partner, then this is the perfect site for you. Just remember that sharing the thrill doesn’t mean halving the fear!

View the Northern Lights

It will cost you, and there’s no actual guarantee you will get to see the aurora borealis… but if you plan well and get a good guide from a reputable company, you will experience this entrancing magical show of nature with your partner.

One of the best places to view the Northern Lights is in Norway. Between late September and late March, it is dark between 6 pm and 1 am. This is your best chance of spotting the lights.

Horse and Carriage Ride

For a huge dose of romance, head to Paris and have a horse and carriage ride. It’ll be one of the most romantic things you’ll ever do as a couple. Plus you can sit back, relax and snuggle up to your loved one and take in all of Paris famous landmarks; the Champs Elysees, Trocadero and Arc de Triomphe.

The carriage departs from the Eiffel Tower, the tours are an hour in total and leave daily at 1 pm, 4 pm, 5 pm and 6 pm. In the spirit of YOLO, upgrade to the 1.5-hour long ride and a bottle of champagne!

Hot Air Balloon Safari

Be prepared for an early start (around 4 am), but you will be rewarded with an incredible sunrise and spectacular game viewing, along with a champagne breakfast.
